Tinos the holy island of Our Lady it is still unspoiled and unaffected from tourism. It is mostly undiscovered and its beaches remain ever so inviting. The island is reputed for the unique architecture, the natural beauty and the beautiful beaches. It is also famous for its dovecotes all elaborately decorated. They are two-storey fortress like towers decorated with geometric designs. Their number is not exactly known, however they certainly exceed 600.

Studios Akti Giannaki is a brand new complex (built 2007) is located at Kardiani Bay or Akti Giannaki (11 Km from the port of Tinos) and 3.5 km from the so named traditional Kardiani Village (the last 400 metres are dirt road). This extraordinary village features beautiful traditional architecture, natural springs, and an outstanding view overlooking the countryside spreading down to the sea. The village is build amphitheatrically on the side of the steep hill, and has a magnificent variety of just about every tree that is grown in the Cycladic region. The village hugs the hillside and has a walkway and steps that follow the natural terrain.

Studios Akti Giannaki is built according the traditional cycladic and Tinos architecture. They are just five metres from the sea and the combination of the complex and the location create a unique place for holidays and relaxing atmosphere.

The local stone, the wooden finish and the marble floors, the beautiful decoration, all harmonically blend to make your stay a lot more than pleasant.

The spacious rooms and the decoration with the retro beds, the antique furniture and the minimalist baths with the sea and sun brush strokes, ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen with utensils, refrigerator and all are air-conditioned and have the necessary electic appliances for those who wish a long stay.
